The EDF Energy London Eye has announced that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 installation has gone live. We are proud to be part of what is currently the largest deployment of tablets in any public environment, worldwide.
The EDF London Eye is presenting an engaging panorama app on the Samsung tablets, enhancing the visitor experience by allowing visitors to zoom into stunning aerial pictures to find out more about the surrounding London landmarks.
When the London Eye initially approached us, they were in the process of testing various tablet enclosures to be attached to the railings inside of each capsule. Bouncepad was chosen over the competition due to its robustness, functional features and playful design, nicely aligning with the landmark’s high tech aesthetic. Working on a tight timeline of only 8 weeks, Bouncepad delivered 192 custom made enclosures, to present 6 Samsung Galaxy Tabs in each of the 32 capsules.
It has been a pleasure working with the team at the London Eye, and we are looking forward following the success of this project.
If you haven’t had a chance to see the installation first hand, take a look at these features on Stuff, Tech Digest, Tech Radar, Pocket Lint and This is London to see what people are saying about it.
